Using Kurkuri

  • Download the Kurkuri app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
  • Once the app has been installed, open it.
  • Tap Create Your New Kurkuri Account and Sign up with email address or phone number, then enter your email address or phone number (which will require a confirmation code) and tap VERIFY.
  • If you register with your email address or phone number, fill in your profile info and then tap NEXT.
If you sign up using email, make sure that you enter your email address correctly and choose an email address that only you can access. If you log out and forget your password, you'll need to be able to access your emails to get back into your Kurkuri account.

Note that if you created your account recently, people on Kurkuri may see that you have a new account.

You'll need to log in to your account before you're able to update your profile information.

To update your profile information, including your name, bio, gender, birthdate, address, phone number and email address associated with your account:
  • Go to your profile.
  • Tap Update Your Information
  • then there are three options-
    PERSONAL INFORMATION
    • Name
    • Bio
    • Gender
    • Birth Date
    ADDRESS INFORMATION
    • Current Address
    • Home Address
    ACCOUNT INFORMATION
    • Email
    • Phone Number
    • Change password
  • Now go to these sections and change the data you want to change.

Monthly rating means your average results of the ratings you received from the Kurkuri user in the last month's photography, creative writing and news writing posts you made. If you haven't posted anything in the last month, N/A will show up.

  • Go to your Kurkuri account's menu bar, tap Search New Friends.
  • Type your friends name into the search bar and click GO
  • To add someone, tap With You button
  • To remove someone, go to your profile
  • Tap With You, see your With You list with an option of remove.
  • Tap Remove button.

By making different types of posts, you can gain attention in different ways. You can make six types of post for now and these are Photography, Creativity, Help, Helping, Thinking and News.

  • Go to your Kurkuri account's Home page, tap the + icon in footer
  • tap on SELECT YOUR POST TYPE and choose your one
  • Instructions -
    • Photography

    Share your best capturing moments and get appreciated.

    Creativity :

    Share your drawing, writting poem, story etc. In future you can also upload video, audio.

    Help :

    Ask any kind of help with proper explanation

    Helping :

    Offer your helps to build a better future for many

    Thinking :

    Share your thoughts, feelings, experiences and knowledge

    News :

    Share the news around you and unlock your inner joiurnalist.

Generally you will see different types of posts like Photography, Creativity, Help, Helping, Thinking and News. Posts that you see in post view section are meant to keep you connected to the people. As post privacy is public for now, you may see others post who aren't friends/ with you.

Sometimes a post that you've already seen may come again beacuse many of your friends(With you) have reacted, viewed or commented on it.

Remember you can not retrieve deleted Kurkuri post for now.
To delete Post:
  • Go to the post that you'd like to delete
  • Click dot icon in the top right of the post
  • Click Delete Post

To report Post:
  • Go to the post that you'd like to report
  • Click dot icon in the top right of the post
  • Click Report Post
  • Select Report Category and click SUBMIT

To reset password:
  • Go to the Side Menu Bar, click Accounts & Login
    Another option- Go to Profile, first click Update Your Profile then click ACCOUNT INFORMATION
  • Click Password Change, Then Put Old Password and New Password
  • Click UPDATE

Remember, When you delete your account, we delete things that you have posted, such as your photos and status updates. After 40 days, your account and all your information will be permanently deleted, and you won't be able to retrieve your information.It may take up to 120 days.If you don't want to delete your account but want to temporarily stop using the Platform, you can deactivate your account instead.

To deactive or delete Kurkuri account:
  • Go to the Side Menu Bar, click Accounts & Login
  • For deactive account click Deactivate your Account
    For delete account click Delete your Account
